With 11 days until Election Day, tensions are rising as to which political party will take office. Kamala Harris has been busy rallying in swing states to gain more votes.
In a Pennsylvania town hall on Wednesday, Oct. 23, Harris announced her presidency will be different than Joe Biden’s. Harris focused on issues relating to immigration, fracking and supreme court reformation. Harris also stated she believes Donald Trump is a fascist.
On Thursday, Oct. 24, Harris rallied in Georgia where Bruce Springsteen performed at her rally, and Obama attended. On Friday, she is going to Texas (a historically Republican state) with Beyonce. Then on Saturday in Michigan, Michelle Obama will be joining her for the rally.
In a Wallstreet Journal Poll done on Oct. 23, Trump led Harris 47% to 45%. In a New York Times Poll from Oct. 24, Harris led Trump 49% to 48%. This will be a close election, dependent on the results from the swing states.
Harris is planning to give a speech at the National Mall on Tuesday in a last-minute attempt to sway voters. It will be up to the people on Nov. 5 to determine what the next four years will look like.
