In the week of September 27, we see headlines of political violence, promotions of tax breaks, childcare infrastructure and Project 2025. On Sept. 26, the Associated Press and PBS reported that outside of a Democratic Party campaign office in Phoenix Ariz., police were readily posted. This was following two shootings at the office door and windows, in the past week. This political season has been met with violence very early on, with repeated assassination threats, and attempts. On Wednesday Sept. 25, Vice President Kamala Harris said that she would offer tax credits to “domestic manufacturers and invest in sectors.” As reported by Reuters. "I have pledged that building a strong middle class will be the defining goal of my presidency," Harris said. Both Harris and Former President Donald Trump, are focusing on the economy during their campaigns. On Friday the 27, Harris made campaign stops in Arizona, an important swing state for this election. This week, House Democrats met about Project 2025. There was another Democratic hearing on childcare infrastructure.
